*1998년에 데뷔한 일본의 헤비메탈 밴드 섹스 머신건즈. 섹스 피스톨즈보다 더 센 음악을 하자는 의미로 섹스 머신건즈라는 이름을 밴드명으로 채택하였다고 합니다. (비슷한 케이스로는 언더커버의 디자이너인 준 타카하시의 트리뷰트 밴드인 도쿄 섹스 피스톨즈) 밴드의 보컬과 연주 실력은 일본 내에서 최고로 뽑히며 일본 메탈계에서 손 꼽히는 연주자들은 전부 이 밴드를 거쳐갔습니다. 하지만 유치찬란하면서도 포스있는 코믹한 모습으로 일본에서는 한국의 노라조와 같은 포지션을 취하고 있습니다. 섹스 머신건즈의 황금기인 4기 활동 중에는 내한하여 Clash(크래쉬)와 함께 공연하기도 하였습니다.
