​중세 독일의 작센 선제후국(Electorate of Saxony)에서 요한 프리드리히 2세 대공(Johann Friedrich II) 시절에 발행 및 유통된 대형 탈러(Thaler) 은화입니다. 전면에는 갑옷으로 무장을 한 요한 프리드리히 2세 대공의 상반신이 도안되어 있고, 후면에는 그의 형제인 요한 빌헬름(Johann Wilhelm)과 요한 프리드리히 3세(Johann Fridrich III)가 도안되어 있습니다.
연도가 표기되어 있지 않으나, 당대 화폐는 발행 당시의 군주를 도안에 넣는 것이 관례적이었기에 요한 프리드리히 2세 대공 집권기에 발행된 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
