This donkey jacket is our interpretation of a classic silhouette. We took inspiration from the wool sack coats worn by workers in the 19th century, alongside those eponymous jackets worn by navvies working on donkey engines.
Constructed from a stout 16.2oz melton wool woven in Italy, it is finished with genuine horn buttons and features a distinctive reinforced shoulder, alongside patch and flap bellows pockets and adjustable cuffs.
With a broad, stiff collar and a simple, straight shape, it is a beautiful example of when form and function meet.
동키 자켓은 당시 19세기 ‘동키 엔진’이라 불리는 엔진 회사에서 일하는 해군들이 입는 워크 자켓에서 영감을 받아 디자인하였습니다. 이탈리아에서 짜인 튼튼한 멜튼 울로 제작하였으며 패치와 벨로우즈 포켓, 소매 폭을 조절 가능한 커프스와 보강된 어깨 패턴이 특징입니다.
