오래된 소나무 떡메 입니다.

연세드신분 실제 떡메질 경험 있으신분도 계시겠지만
옛전통은 명절 또는 큰 잔치를 앞두고 가정에서
찹쌀을 찐 후 떡메질로 인절미를 만들었습니다.

지금은 떡메질 대신 기계방아로 찧지만
간혹 행사장에서 떡메질 하는 모습이 방송되기도
합니다.

본 떡메는 제가 인테리어 소장한지 10년 정도 되지만
실제 만들어진지는 추정하기 쉽지 않습니다만,

머리부분 소나무 건조상태를 보면 구한말 시대까지
올라갈 정도로 상당히 연대감이 좋습니다.

한국산 소나무(육송)을 두툼한 싸이즈로 다듬고 손잡이를
끼워 튼튼하게 만들었습니다.
