척주동해비가 명문을 넣어 만든 김용균선생의 작품입니다.

동해척주비는 조선 중기 현종때 삼척부사 허목이 동해바다의 어민들의 안전을 기원하며 전서체의 명문으로 세운 비석입니다.

당시의 비석에 비문을 지금도 도자기등에 새겨 액운을 막고 안녕을 기원하는 의미로 소장들 하십니다.
