1960년대 스와(諏訪)공장에서 주로 생산되던 그랜드 세이코와 더불어 다이니(또는 亀戸)공장에서 주로 생산되던 킹 세이코는 당시 세이코 내부 경쟁 정책으로 그랜드 세이코와 동급에서 겨루던 모델입니다. 나중에 가서는 양쪽 공장에서 모두 서로의 킹세이코와 그랜드세이코를 제작했지만 이 시계는 HI-BEAT표기 아래 태풍마크를 통해 스와 공장에서 만들어졌음을 알 수 있습니다.
그중에서 56계열 무브먼트는 28,800vph에 46시간의 파워 리저브(현행 스위스 시계 대부분이 28,800vph)를 가지고 있습니다.
데이데이트 창을 가지고 있어서 일상생활하며 사용하기 좋고 드레스워치로서도 좋은 선택이 됩니다(요일창 한자/영어 중 선택 가능). 시계 상태 최상이며 글라스도 사파이어 글라스로 교체하여 깨끗합니다.
